Iterative Software Development
The traditional waterfall software development process has not proven itself effective at risk reduction and has resulted in a transition to an iterative software development process. Iterative and Incremental development is a software development process developed in response to the weaknesses of the more traditional waterfall model. Iterative development is an approach to building software (or anything) in which the overall lifecycle is composed of several iterations in sequence. Iterative or incremental software development appears to be a promising software process approach, and it looks great in theory. Iterative software development focuses on responding to changes.
