Furnaces
A furnace describes a household heating system based on a central furnace (sometimes called a boiler or a heater). A furnace is one key component of a central heating system. The furnace creates heat by burning fuel (oil, gas or wood) or through elecrity and the heat is distributed throughout the house by ducts or pipes carrying hot water or hot oil. Furnaces are the most common residential heating system in the U.S. When considering new furnaces, make sure its heating capacity is right for your home. Most furnaces are substantially over-sized.
