Digital Rights Management
Digital Rights Management (generally abbreviated to DRM) is any of several technologies used by publishers (or copyright owners) to control access to and usage of digital data such as software or music. Major entertainment companies are using digital rights management, or DRM (aka content or copy protection), to lock up your digital media. DRM is a broad term used to describe a number of techniques for restricting the free use and transfer of digital property.
