Prototyping

Prototyping is the process of quickly putting together a working model (a prototype) in order to test various aspects of a design, illustrate ideas or features and gather early user feedback. By prototyping in a team environment, you allow for divergent thinking and that leads to new ideas and concepts, which can sometimes even lead to new business opportunities and growth. Prototyping is one of the most common tasks of information architects, who are called on to produce everything from low fidelity wireframes to clickable interfaces. There are a lot of gains to be made by using prototyping in the design stage of a project, whether it is a software app or a physical product.
