Pressure Sensors

A pressure sensor measures the pressure, typically of gases or fluids. Pressure is an expression of the force required to stop a gas or fluid from expanding, and is usually stated in terms of force per unit area. Hi, i am currently carrying out research into pressure sensors, buthave been quite confused by the differing terms used and lack ofinformation available from search engines and data sheets. Pressure sensors can be classified in term of pressure ranges they measures, temperature ranges of operation, and most importantly the type of pressure they measure. Low cost pressure sensors and pressure transducers offer outstanding features and benefits for a variety of applications. Semiconductor pressure sensors are sensitive, inexpensive, accurate and repeatable.
