Frequency Converters

A frequency changer or frequency converter is an electronic device that converts alternating current (AC) of one frequency to alternating current of another frequency. Often, suppliers of frequency converters will also supply dc power systems, ups systems, line drop compensation equipment and voltage regulators and harmonics. The class of electrical machinery that is used to convert one frequency Hertz of electrical power into another frequency can be called frequency converters. Frequency converters may also refer to a much lower powered circuit that converts radio frequency signals at one frequency to another frequency.
