Vasectomy Reversal
It takes an average of one year to achieve a pregnancy after a vasectomy reversal. Vasectomy reversal usually takes a few hours, followed by a few more hours of post-op recovery. You can typically go home the same day. Pain may be mild to moderate. You should be able to resume normal activities, including sex, within 3 weeks. Most insurance plans do not cover the cost of reversal surgery, which can range from $6,000 to $13,000. Approximately five to ten percent of the half million men who opt for vasectomy each year later elect to have the vasectomy reversed.
