A sleep disorder affects the sleep patterns of a person and they can interfere with mental and emotional function. If left untreated, sleep disorders can begin to affect family and professional life and affect individual well-being.
Sleep disorders arise from any number of factors including: back issues, neck pain, stimulants, stress, even a noisy environment. Poor sleep from any of these factors can lead to a sleep deficit that can begin to diminish the health of the individual.
