Electrocardiograms
An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a graphic produced by an electrocardiograph, which records the electrical voltage in the heart in the form of a visual graph. Proficiency in electrocardiogram ECG interpretation is an essential skill for medical students, housestaff, and clinicians. A typical ECG tracing of a normal heartbeat (or cardiac cycle) consists of a P wave, a QRS complex and a T wave.
