Alcohol Testing
Alcohol testing is done by law enforcement to measure the level of intoxication from alcohol. Blood alcohol content or blood alcohol concentration is the concentration of alcohol in blood. It is measured either as a percentage by mass, by mass per volume, or a combination. For most alcohol testing devices, users simply blow through a mouthpiece for 2-5 seconds. The sensors measure the alcohol level of air in the deep lungs. Testing is most accurate if subjects have not consumed food or alcohol 15 minutes prior to testing. Alcohol testers are a great tool for everyone. People are often unaware of their precise intoxication level. Different factors like a person's weight, muscle mass, and recently consumed food or beverages all affect a person's blood alcohol content. Just because a person may act or seem sober does not mean that they are. Protect yourself and your loved ones before you get into the car with an alcohol testing kit.
