Public Speaking

Public speaking can be developed by joining a club such Rostrum, Toastmasters International, Association of Speakers Clubs (ASC) or International Training in Communication (ISC) in which members practice to improve their speaking ability. Public speaking is speaking to a group of people in a structured, deliberate manner intended to inform, influence, or entertain the listeners. A classic tip in public speaking is to make sure you have finished speaking before your audience has finished listening. Public speaking programs exist to ease the fear of public speaking and build your confidence. The fear of public speaking is called glossophobia or, informally, stage fright. Public speaking anxiety is very common among the general population. Improve your speaking skills to speaking effectively in public.
