CompactPCI

Systems designers who use CompactPCI single board computers for military and aerospace applications are turning to the relatively small 3U CompactPCI boards in a big way. CompactPCI, also known as Compact PCI, is a modern, very high performance industrial bus based on the standard PCI electrical specification. A CompactPCI (cPCI) system is a 3U or 6U Eurocard-based industrial computer, where all boards are connected via a passive PCI backplane. CompactPCI is best suited for small, high speed industrial computing.
