Heat Exchangers

A heat exchanger enables efficient heat transfer from one fluid to another or one gas to another. Some heat exchangers allow the material to mix while other heat exchangers keep the materials separated. Heat exchangers are used in refrigeration, air conditioning, space heating, power production, and chemical processing. Perhaps the most familiar heat exchanger is the radiator in a car where the hot radiator fluid is cooled by the flow of air over the radiator surface.
