Excavators

Excavators are manufactured in a wide variety of sizes. The smaller excavators are called a mini-excavators or compact excavator. Excavators are usually used together with front loaders and bulldozers. Most smaller excavators have a small backfill or bulldozer blade which is a horizontal bulldozer like blade attached to the undercarriage and is used for pushing removed material back into a hole. There are excavators for just about any project, from the do-it-yourself project to huge industrial projects.
