EMC Testing
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) has to do with the unintentional generation, propagation and reception of electromagnetical energy. In particular, the aim of EMC Testing and compliance is to achieve the correct operation, in the same environment, of different equipment which involve electromagnetic energy in their operation. In other words, when the microwave is running, you want your radio to work too or your cd player. The electromagnetic compatibility of various electronic products is quite important. Without EMC testing and EMC compliance, we'd have a world full of products that may or may not work together.
